What to consider when charging your GoPro.
Use a charger that is compatible with the GoPro main unit.
When charging your GoPro with an AC adapter or mobile battery, use a model that supports the output to prevent battery deterioration.
Also, using a charger that is compatible with the GoPro main unit will speed up the charging process.
If you use HERO 5 or later, pay attention to the USB cable.
There are charging standards that are compatible with USB cables.
Some USB cables are not 5V/1A, so if you are using a GoPro HERO 5 or later with 10W charging, it will not only slow down the charging speed, but may also cause battery degradation.
GoPro basically charges at 5V, so use a USB cable with a corresponding amperage of 2A or higher.
Recently, e-commerce stores such as Amazon sell 2A and 2.4A compatible USB cables at low prices, so be sure to check the packaging when purchasing.
