The HERO (2024) excels in its compact and lightweight design, making it significantly smaller and lighter than the HERO11 Black, which is a major advantage for portability.

In terms of features, the HERO (2024) lacks a front display, which is a crucial difference. If you plan to use a chest mount or want to frame your shots while filming, the front display on the HERO11 Black can be much more convenient.

One interesting point in favor of the HERO (2024) is its support for microSD cards up to 1TB, providing ample storage. However, since the HERO (2024) has a built-in battery, you won’t be able to utilize the full storage capacity for continuous long-duration shooting. Nonetheless, it’s a great advantage for those who want to shoot without worrying about storage limitations.
